I always have a great time when I visit the Riviera Country Club in Coral Gables. The club is beautiful, of course, but it also has an elegant tradition dating back to the 1920's. The beautiful greens of it's golf course were designed by Donald Ross, the pre-eminent golf course architect from the first half of the last century. The lawns look on to the golf course of the Biltmore Hotel, which gracefully accents the horizon, affording magnificent views from most of the club's verandas.

This time I had the pleasure of being part of the party in honor of Joanne Kudzma. The celebration was lovely with plenty of food, wine and dancing to brighten everyone's evening. I'd like to congratulate Joanne and thank her friends, family and grandchildren for being so gracious and welcoming.

A special thanks to the evening's wonderful hostess, Audrey Ross. Simply one of the most joyful people I've ever met... just a fantastic person!
