Key West

I had so many get sessions this week. But I'm going to write about our great  family weekend trip to Key West. We had such a great time.  We visited Hemingway's House, the Key West Lighthouse and so many other great spots we had not been to in a long while. We shopped and ran around for a few days. We also got some great seafood and key lime pie. It was perfect!

Confronted with one of Hemingway's famous cats... the twins, and the cat, had a tense moment as they each wondered what to make of each other.

At the Lighthouse's children's playroom the guys had a really nice time playing with all of there educational toys. They of course really loved the lighthouse itself. And yes we went up all 88 steps to get to the top. It was very windy at the top and being a perfect little lady Ophelia was worried about her hair.

There was also a really old Banyan tree that has been living next to the lighthouse almost since it was constructed. It is so big that Stephen and Ophelia were able to play hide and seek in it's massive roots.

On our drive back I got the opportunity to just veg-out and decided to take some out the window shoots.
They are kind of sadly poetic.
