New York in the Fall

I headed up to New York to do holiday portrait sessions for some, really great, long-time clients. Since I had multiple sessions and was planning a week long stay, we decided to all go up and make it a Halloween in Manhattan trip. The babes had a great time running all around the city. We even went up-state and ran around the country.

A view of the city from the Jackie Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in Central Park.

The babes had a wonderful time running around the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Stephen's favorite spot in Central Park is the Ancient Playground across from the MET. Inspired by British playgrounds during WWII when kids made playgrounds out of rubble and debris left behind in the bombed cities. It makes for a lot of "watch out!" and "careful!". But with it's tunnels to explore, brick ledges to climb and many slides it makes for a fun adventure.

We took a short trip to visit my sister's land in upstate New York. Like any true New Yorker she lives and works in the city but relaxes in the country. It was beautiful to be in a wide open natural setting; the perfect balance to our busy time in the city.

We had a fantastic time. Thanks to my wonderful clients for the invitation and for the great sessions. See you again very soon.
