We just got back from a great vacation on Captiva Island. We stayed in a beautiful house right on the beach. The sunsets were amazing every night! Here is the sun setting and our lovely home at dusk.

  

Captiva has pristine beaches. It was so beautiful to walk down the beach with the kids and look at all the shells and dune vegetation. Here's Stephen discovering some new shells. They also loved that they could write in the sand. Sometimes it's so easy to make them happy.



We also did alot of swimming. I'd say the babes officially love the beach. Here's Ophelia heading out to the water for a swim.



We did have a few minor melt downs, it's hard not to with twin toddlers. Here's one of poor Ophelia that was captured forever on film.



The time flew and we surely gained a few pounds... the beach makes me want to snack!
I do apologize to everyone who called or emailed me during that time. I was not great about responding to messages in good time. But I'm back now and ready to shoot some beautiful images. Just in time for the holidays!
