Love the Modern Classics!

My images have been described as modern classics. Now that sounds great but what does it really mean?
To me it means a fresh look that is clean and crisp, of the moment, without sacrificing any of the significance of the day.

I'm not a fan of images that are photo-journalistic for the sake of being "photo-journalistic". Concept photos can be devoid of artistry... let's face it, some of them look like uncle Bob took them. Not good. Call me old-fashioned but I prefer some glamor and beauty in my images.

That's not to say I like rigid posed photographs. My images are romantic, intimate and spontaneous. I often prefer the honest, unposed photographs. This is true of wedding and portrait photography. Magic happens when you allow the subject to unfold and endeavor simply to capture the joy and beauty of the moment.

Most of my clients know my background as a fine artist. This is really instrumental to my visual style. My goal is always the same... create truly beautiful images worth remembering.

My motto: Fresh, fun, beautiful... photography. Simple and true.
