My customers tell me all the time... Why don't you move to Palm Beach, move back to Chicago, move to New York.
So, I'll just admit it - Miami is over crowded and hot. That having been said, I love it.

There's nothing better having an iced cappuccino (I did mention how hot it is) early in the morning on Lincoln Road. Watching all the people walk by. Tiny little dogs in purses, little kids running around, everyone on bikes or vespas. Listen in on any conversation and you'll hear any number of different languages. I love to just sit and watch all the interesting characters. And did I mention it's a beautiful place.

          

My favorite breakfast spot (right now) is the beautiful ivy covered Van Dyke. They have an amazing waffle with fresh berries and cream that is too good! And their frozen cappuccino is really delicious.
With it's love of Art Deco, Miami is an architectural playhouse. It's best to not take it too seriously. Interesting juxtapositions are all around.
